Pine Island is the largest island (17 miles long and 2 miles wide) on the West Coast of Florida. It’s just 15 minutes from Cape Coral, 20 minutes from Ft. Myers and the Southwest Florida International Airport. Pine Island lies about 5 miles from what is known as the “Outer Islands”. These islands expand from Sanibel Island north to Boca Grande.
Private air facility located on approximately 18 acres of level land. Existing hangars are of pole construction with a mix of metal and wood. Possible to expand hangars to accomodate 13 more aircraft. Aircraft based at the airfield vary from small single engine aircraft to ultralights and powered paragliders. Airfield is the primary fly-in facility for Pine Island and the adjacent Ft. Myers / Cape Coral area. The airfield is very popular amongst the Powered Paragliding community. Tenants include full service and training for powered paragliding. Excellent potential for expansion and cash flow.
